Vintuitive Winemaking Tools LLC (previously Vinnovation LLC) was co-founded in 2013 by Alex Mitchell and Evan Schneider. Our goal is to locally design and manufacture revolutionary winemaking products.

Alex Mitchell is the owner of MUST Machining and Fabrication, a full-service machine shop and winemaking product O.E.M. located in the Napa Valley. Alex received his B.S. and M.S. in Industrial and Technical Studies from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 2004. After school, he spent two years in San Luis Obispo starting a manufacturing department for a local business. He then moved back home to the Napa Valley, where he took a job working for York Machine Works. Alex bought the business from the original owner upon his retirement. Alex enjoys helping customers develop and improve products and is continually innovating new designs for the wine industry.

Evan Schneider received his M.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford. He graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT in 2012, but has been interested in building and improving mechanical devices since long before the start of his college career. Evan has extensive design and manufacturing knowledge and is familiar with various CAD and CAM packages, programming, mechatronics, 3D printing, and more. His day job at POP Manufacturing involves prototype making and 3D printing.
