LOTUS PUMPOVER HEAD
Our patented LOTUS pumpover head gently and uniformly distributes juice -- even if unfiltered or mixed with whole berries -- over the cap in tanks of any size without excessive bruising or misting. Over the past nine years, our team designed and iteratively improved the LOTUS using state of the art CAD software and rapid prototyping technologies. The latest "uniflute" design builds on our last revision, and provides a further enhanced distribution of must with an even gentler, continuous, curved ramp.
LOTUS is made here in the Napa Valley, using 304 Stainless Steel and other food-safe materials. By using shapes made with 3D printers, we weren’t limited by the geometries that standard machine tools can make. The resulting functional, elegant design represents a shift for both Vintuitive and the entire winemaking industry. LOTUS is continuously adjustable, compact, has few moving parts, and is easy to install and clean.

Each LOTUS is shipped in professional and reusable packaging that can nest, ensuring safe and clean storage of your devices during transit and during the off season.

How Do We Compare?
The goal of LOTUS is to provide winemakers with an easy to use tool that enables the uniform distribution of juice over the cap. We've been hard at work testing and tweaking the complex geometry of LOTUS to ensure that the distribution is as uniform as possible. The following two charts depict, in different representations, how that work has paid off. The LOTUS, unlike our competitors, does not have a "hot spot" near the center, but rather provides a near-uniform level of coverage across the entire tank.
